Breathe Underwater is a site that shines a light on the ongoing issue of female artists who, despite their talent and passion, are often marginalized in the art world.

As a female artist, I created this project to use metaphor to call attention to this inequality. The idea of female artists being trapped and unable to breathe serves as a metaphor for the restrictions and difficulties they encounter in the field. The purpose of Breathe Underwater is to challenge and change how society views female artists and to acknowledge them the honor and respect they deserve. This platform acts as a strong voice for female artists and a call to action for more equity in the arts.
